Telephone interpreting · Coming soon
Practise interpreting when all you have is the voice.

How a session works
- Step 1
Two speakers who can't understand each other
Pick a scenario. Two AI voices play the parts: an English-speaking professional and a client who speaks your other language.
- Step 2
You interpret, out loud
Hold Space (or the mic button) while you talk. You relay each turn into the other language, as you would in a real session.
- Step 3
Score and feedback in minutes
When you finish, XINGO scores accuracy, terminology, fluency, turn management and professionalism, with notes on what to fix.
Questions
Is this affiliated with TIS National or Services Australia?+
No. XINGO is independent. The calls are realistic role-plays of the kinds of calls phone interpreters handle.
Does this help with the NAATI CPI remote task?+
The CPI test includes a remote dialogue task, so practising audio-only interpreting is directly relevant. Check NAATI's website for current test details.
Can I practise without a headset?+
You can, but headphones stop the AI hearing itself through your speakers and make sessions much smoother.
